高市圖國際繪本中心自2019年開辦「好繪芽繪本創作班」，透過每年一屆、每屆超過50小時的課程內容，邀請兩位繪本專家擔任班導師，並聚集多位相關專業客座老師，循序漸進教授繪本創作課程。

　　每屆以不同特色為企劃主軸，課程包含繪本表現形式、設定風格、分鏡構圖、繪製色稿等內容，課程中將一同討論及完成繪本創作。其中更含涵精采的單元專題課程，如邀請繪本專家剖析國內外經典繪本、繪本文本的創作技巧；或是繪本作家分享自己的創作歷程、創作技巧、文本的構思與實踐，甚至是後端的編輯出版、閱讀推廣及評論、著作權法律認知等，以全方位的繪本職涯需求為規劃，邀請繪本領域的能手來為學員提供更多元的角度，開啟創作小芽對繪本的觀察面向，並獲取充沛養分。

　　參與創作班初除了可學習如何獨立完成繪本製作，成功結業的創作小芽也可以於成果展覽展示作品，並獲得參與《好繪芽—繪本創作人才扶植計劃》下一階段「繪本創作獎助」的資格，有機會成為獲得最高30萬元獎助之得獎者。

Launched in 2019, the Picture Book Sprouting Creative Course  is held annually over more than 50 hours of lessons. Helmed by two picture book veterans who also serve as mentors, the course invites guest speakers from related fields to share their experience and help learners progress through the various stages of picture book creation.

Each year’s program features a different creative theme, while lessons cover areas like artistic and stylistic expression, storyboard composition, and color drafting etc. Throughout the course, participants will be given the chance to discuss and complete their picture book projects in class. Designed thematically with the professional needs of aspiring picture book authors in mind, this course aims to provide a well-rounded perspective into the different facets of picture book creation. Industry experts are invited to share their insights on the picture book creation process by analyzing classic picture books from Taiwan and around the world. Besides sharing their creative journeys, veteran picture book creators will also discuss how they bring ideas to life. Other themes explored in this expert-led holistic course include: editing, publishing, creating promotional materials, writing picture book reviews, and even legal matters like copyright.

Besides learning how picture books are created from start to finish, participants who have completed the course will also have the chance to showcase their work at an exhibition celebrating their achievements. In addition, they will also be eligible for the Picture Book Sprouting Awards and stand the chance to win up to NT$300, 000 in creative grants.
